Rental Terms & Conditions

Cascade Valley Rentals · Stevenson, WA · Last updated March 2026

By completing a booking with Cascade Valley Rentals you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before submitting your rental request.

1. Rental Agreement & Authorization

A digital rental agreement will be sent to you via SMS after your booking is approved. You must sign the agreement before or at the time of pickup. Failure to sign the agreement may result in cancellation of the rental without a refund of any captured payment.

2. Payment & Authorization Hold

When you submit a booking request, an authorization hold is placed on your card for the full rental amount. No money is charged until the booking is approved by the owner. If the booking is declined, the hold is released immediately and no charge is made. Once approved, the full rental amount is captured.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start date will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of the start date are non-refundable. No-shows are non-refundable. To cancel, call or text Carlos at (503) 477-2721.

4. Late Returns

Trailers must be returned by the end of the last rental day agreed upon at booking. Late returns are charged at the daily rental rate pro-rated to the nearest half-day. Failure to return the trailer within 24 hours of the agreed return date may result in a police report being filed.

5. Driver Requirements

The renter must hold a valid driver's license and must be at least 18 years of age. The renter is responsible for ensuring their tow vehicle is rated to safely tow the rented trailer. Cascade Valley Rentals is not liable for damage caused by an under-rated tow vehicle.

6. Hitch & Tow Vehicle Requirements

The renter is responsible for providing a properly rated hitch ball, hitch receiver, and safety chains. Required ball sizes are listed on each trailer's fleet card. Cascade Valley Rentals reserves the right to refuse rental if the tow vehicle or hitch is deemed unsafe.

7. Damage & Liability

The renter is responsible for any damage to the trailer occurring during the rental period, including damage caused by improper loading, overloading, or accidents. Renters are strongly encouraged to verify that their auto insurance policy covers towed trailers. Cascade Valley Rentals is not liable for damage to cargo, the tow vehicle, or third-party property.

8. Mileage & Geographic Restrictions

There is no mileage limit on rentals unless otherwise agreed in writing. Trailers may not be taken outside the contiguous United States without prior written approval. Off-road use is strictly prohibited.

9. Prohibited Uses

Trailers may not be used to transport hazardous materials, live animals (without prior approval), or any illegal cargo. Subletting or re-renting the trailer to a third party is strictly prohibited.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from this rental agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington. The parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution before pursuing legal action.
